ALICE IN WONDERLAND
ALICE IN WONDERLAND began life as a story told by Lewis Carroll(1832-1898), a young Oxford University professor, to some children on a river trip in 1862. Later he wrote it out neatly with drawings as a present for one of the children, Alice Liddell. The original manuscript is now kept in the British Library, London.

THE REAL ALICE
At the end of the manuscript of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll incluede a picture of Alice Liddell, the little girl who had inspired him. She was associated with the book throughout her life.

WHITE RABBIT
Many different artists since Tenniel have illustrated the Alice stories.Here a fashionable Alice from the 1920s meets the elegant White Rabbit, who is so strtled by her that he drops his gloves and fan.
